Ladies, if any of you are like me, you get stressed out with all the responsibilities of motherhood. I know with my husband gone, it is more difficult and I don't know how you ladies do it that do it by yourself - you are AMAZING! You all know what I mean though - is the house perfect, are the beds made, clothes washed and folded, dishes done, floors swept? Do we have soccer practice today, is it Wednesday night and the kids need to be at Church, did we pack all the snacks we need to go to _____, will we make it to Church on time? Is family home evening planned, have we read our scriptures, said our prayers, helped someone out, etc., etc., etc.?
Well, my friend forwarded me this link today and while it is not written by a member of the Church, I really appreciated the message and thought I would share it with you. I think that you will appreciate what she is saying like I do, and it made me remember that sometimes fun needs to come first. There will always be something to clean around the house but you can't get back those memories and missed opportunities to bond with your children and share special moments once they're gone!!!
